He isn't good enough because he was undeveloped
If your concepts cannot see that Prop
Then I guess that is a shame.

Just imagine that life is a process and we are products of the
Quality of the component parts of that process

so when he plays and doesn't score because he isn't good enough (remember the management team has seen him train and play for a couple of years now) and we start dropping down the league and losing the money those league places bring and our transfer kitty for next season diminishes and then miss out on that star striker because we couldn't raise the money because we missed out on 3 or 4 places in the league then go on to have a poor season next season because we didn't have the resources and what top player wants to come to a team in the bottom half of the league

would you still be saying aaaahhhhh it doesn't matter.... if only that little boy with the t-shirt got to play

Re: Elliott Lee
Obviously there is no room for sentiment in making footballing decisions, as Allardyce (in this case rightly) would no doubt say. Therefore, if Lee was given a few chances and judged not to be good enough, then that has to be the end of it, and good luck to him - he may well turn out to be much like Sears, a good Championship level player who may eventually find his way back in the Premier League ala Leon Britton but more likely won't. In that case, good luck to him.

But the fact is he hasn't been given a chance - and (as Sears showed the other way round), I'm really not sure how much you can judge players by Reserve/ Development Squad football these days given the structure, lack of competitiveness and the often changing make up of the players people are playing alongside. Surely, now we are effectively certain to be safe/ not getting into Europe, and having had this successful loan spell, the timing is perfect to give him that chance. As I say, give him a few games and if he isn't up to it then fair enough. But - and this is where the sentiment, or cynicism if you like, does come in for me - given the potential for a brilliant story/ PR if Dylan's friend did come through and make a gesture like that when scoring for us, it seems daft to miss the chance to find out at least.

I'm not saying we should give him any extra chances because of a t shirt, but *A* chance is surely the least he deserves. And the potential benefits are sizeable - especially if it also saves us paying over the odds for the likes of Adebayor in the summer. And if not, at least we know.

Sorry to completely state the obvious, but i'd expect a player on the becnh for a Premier League team to be finding the net at that level.

I won't be getting too excited.

I hope it happens for him though, athough i have my doubts with the currnt setup.

No young players are good enough
They must go out on loan to prove themselves
Go out and do well, they're not doing it at a high enough level.

Great.

Stop cumming in your pants, he is playing 3 leagues below the standard he should be at if he is going to make it

He's scored 3, hopefully he'll get the loan extended beyond tonight to score a few more and stake a claim next season.
